It embodies the vision of a payment experience that is instant, accessible, and tailored to the needs of everyday users.
The brand will play a crucial role in raising public awareness and understanding of Namibia's Instant Payment Solution (IPS). By incorporating WayaMe into their consumer education and marketing initiatives, participating financial institutions and payment service providers aim to build familiarity and trust in the platform. This collaborative approach will ensure consistency in public awareness efforts, fostering a sense of recognition and confidence across the payment ecosystem.
The IPS is a key enabler of the National Payment System (NPS) Vision 2030, promoting interoperability and digital inclusion. It allows for seamless payments between banks, wallets, and other channels, while expanding access to secure and affordable digital financial services for all Namibians. Over time, the platform will support various payment use cases, including government-to-person payments, person-to-person transfers, merchant payments, business payments, and the ability to withdraw funds from any wallet at any ATM.
